The Spirit changes hearts but doesn't always stop cars

Holy cow, I can't believe Bro will be home so stinking soon!! As for me and my companions this week flew by again. I love this area so much and the work is moving so much more than in H4. I also think I am working harder and enjoying the work more. Cool story of the week: We were teaching one of our new investigators, Sergio, and when we first started teaching it was a little hectic with the tons of gunshots and super loud music, after some mighty prayers in our hearts and some time, the music and gunshots faded. The Spirit could finally work! He at first didn't even want to talk about the gospel but after the noise went away and the Spirit could work he finally opened up to us and we ended up having a really good lesson. The Spirit changes hearts! With every good story must come a sad story. Kiyah you better stop reading. We tried to save a kitten that was in the middle of the road a few days ago... we weren't fast enough so I ended up just picking up a dead baby kitten. That was rough for us but hey we tried, and the Spirit doesn't always stop cars. Anyway it was a wonderful week!

New area, new life, and loving it

Found some kitties for Kiyah

Holy cow I got transferred to the country!!!! I stinking love it out here, I'm back into a District Leader companionship and a trio and we have a car!  Our area is massive, like it takes an hour top drive from the top to the bottom... I love it. Our area is also boomin' we just picked up 3 new investigators this week and fixed a baptism for June 10th . My companions are Elders Ibarra and Woodward.  Elder Woodward came out a transfer ahead of me and Elder Ibarra will hit his year mark this Thursday. They both are super easy to get along with and hard workers so I'm excited for this transfer. The Lord answers prayers on His own time and in His own way, I have learned this week.
