Dia de P?

January 16th

I can't believe it's P-day again...! I don't have much to say other than we had zone conference this last Thursday which was awesome! Cual es la diferencia de Ser y Estar? Basically I need To Be something is what President Hall drilled into our minds. A to do list without a to be is worthless. What are you going To DO in order to help you To BE something better? It's been kind of a slow week for missionary work, we've had some companionship problems so please keep us in your prayers. This work is a beautiful thing! I have grown to know this. I have been studying Charity this week, and boy it's a good one. The three greatest gifts God has given us are Charity, Faith, and Hope(in that order). Without Charity our faith means nothing yet faith is still the first step. Interesting isn't it? **Strokes non-existent beard in a philosophical way**. Anyway enough of my rambling. I love you all.

January 23rd

Well it's been a good week down here in good ol' Texas. The weather has been kinda crazy, with flash-flood warnings, hail, isolated tornadoes, insane lightening, and LOTS of rain. OH yes, we also only have bikes here...no cars. We had to take shelter in Timmy Chans wing & rice the other day cuz of weather before mentioned. Love Timmy Chans...

Waiting out the storm

Not much else to say, transfers are coming up this next p-day, I think I'm staying here but I'm not sure. Our companionship is doing better! Thanks for the prayers! We went to the Temple on Tuesday and boy that is always super nice to get a break from everything and just feel the spirit so strongly for a few hours.

Spanish is coming along just fine, I've been put in the ward choir? Not sure how that happened but we're in it, and we are singing this Sunday!  Anyway, I elder Clements, having waxed tired in writing, do close this epistle with the up-most love and affection for mine friends and family. Also going to the Zoo in a few hours. Love ya'll!

P.S. My favorite quote from Elder Smith -"I've never related so much to Katy Perry, I was flying through the wind like a plastic bag and roaring like a tiger"  (this quote was due to ridiculous amounts of wind yesterday)

Crazy cold

So yeah like the title says this week was crazy cold, like we couldn't go outside on our bikes it was so stinking cold. It was only 22* outside but with humidity it was like -22. I don't have much to talk about, but... our investigator CAME TO CHURCH!!!!!!! After 3 months of meeting with her she finally came to church and enjoyed it! Boy it was amazing to see her there being so happy and feeling the spirit! It was great to see our prayers and fasting being fulfilled. Have a wonderful week and continue to work on your goals you have set, prayer helps tons.
Love,
Elder Clements

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

Skypeing for Christmas was great!!!

But the day after Elder Smith and I were dying from some sort of rash on our faces that then spread to the wrest of the body... this continued until
Wednesday.

We finally got out of our apt. Thursday with sore faces and bodies and taught some people which is good. We have a new investigator. We've been talking to him for a while but he finally came to church for Christmas and was able to feel the Spirit super strong, he shed a tear! We taught him last night and it was just super spiritual, he will be baptized February I have faith in this one! But wow yeah the work is really great, we had a Blitz in our area last night and the sisters got us some new refs!

I, Elder Clements, being filled with the spirit and having seen exceedingly great things, have come to know of the tender love our Lord and God has for us. This I end of my writings.
Love,
Elder Clements
Elder Smith got a flat while we were out biking so we did some studying in a park

 Baptism!!! Week of 12-20-16

Well we had a baptism this week! He had been getting taught by the sisters missionaries in North Carolina and then he came down here for a week and wanted us to baptize him...so we finished up his lessons, got him some interviews, and dunked that boy! He was so ready and was awesome! He threw his hands up and cheered when he came out of the water!
